I am a person. There is nothing out of the ordinary about me that raises me above anyone else in this world - except that I (possibly like you) sort of consider myself to be a unique individual. All people are unique in their own way. I am a mother of three grown children, a grandmother, and the wife of a wonderful husband. We have a very large Chocolate Lab and two Bernese mountain dogs along with our other animals.
I have always been a "city girl" with the desire to move to the country. A few years ago that dream was realized and we have a few acres in the country where the air is fresh and clean and the sounds of nature are wonderful.
Art and writing are two hobbies I enjoy. I have spent a lot of time over the years painting and drawing with different media. Writing has always been a desire that I am just now finding the time to squeeze into the farm life schedule. My first achievement is a book about Poodiky Oglethorpe, a Bernese Mountain dog puppy. I plan to write and illustrate stories for children that include a lesson learned by the characters that young children can learn and apply to life.
Children inspire me to stay young and face life's challenges with child-like faith; faith in God, our creator, (the one true living God) that is simple, yet strong.
